Earlier today, the leadership of NANS Ondo JCC, ably led by Chairman Comr. Adekanye Mayomi, together with the Planning Committee of the forthcoming summit, “From Students to CEO”, embarked on a strategic courtesy visit to the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
The essence of the engagement was to elucidate the vision, objectives, and transformative agenda of the programme, while soliciting the institution’s endorsement and collaboration. We articulated that the summit is meticulously designed to instill practical entrepreneurial acumen in students and prepare them for future leadership and economic relevance.
On arrival, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, representing the Vice-Chancellor, graciously received our delegation and lauded the initiative as forward-thinking and impactful. The SUG President extended a warm reception and graciously facilitated our introduction to the Dean, thereby enabling direct interface with the institution’s academic leadership.
Comr. Temidayo Lawrence, Secretary of the Planning Committee, comprehensively outlined the programme’s framework and emphasized the indispensable role of FUTA’s partnership in actualizing its objectives and ensuring long-term sustainability.
The chairman of the committee, Comr Akinyele Lemuel, further buttress on the points highlighted by the secretary and also urge the management to collaborate with Nans Ondo JCC to ensure the success of the programme.
In response, the university management commended NANS Ondo JCC for its commitment to student capacity building and described the “From Students to CEO” initiative as timely, visionary, and congruent with national development aspirations. More significantly, the management expressed explicit willingness to commit institutional resources and support toward the successful execution of the programme.
As this stakeholder advocacy tour continues across tertiary institutions, we urge all students to remain diligent and forward-focused. NANS Ondo JCC remains steadfast in delivering value-driven initiatives, and this administration will continue to prioritize service above self.
